A project in this course will run on AWS EKS

Git Basics

Cloning, branching, and committing, since Dockerfiles and Compose files are often version-controlled

JSON/YAML Familiarity

For reading and writing Docker Compose configurations and inspecting container metadata

Terminal/CLI Comfort

Ability to navigate a terminal, run commands, and interpret command output without a GUI

Basic Programming Knowledge

Understanding of how a simple web service or script executes
